• Digiflex announces enhanced RF warehouse management features, including system- and operator-directed put-away of received inventory, and let-down of overhead or reserve stock.

24-Jan-2008:

• Digiflex announces a co-mingling enhancement to the Warehouse Management subsystem.  Multiple different items can be slotted within the same overhead location.  This feature can be enabled or disabled by warehouse section, with overrides available at the individual slot level.  This allows for more efficient space utilization, and all existing features of put-away slot selection are preserved when co-mingling (e.g. choosing the best fit slot, minimizing pallet breakdowns, minimizing distance from pick slot, meeting fill level, slot type, and movement class requirements).

27-Dec-2007:

• Digiflex announces a new Average Costing feature. At any point in time standard item costs can be re-calculated based on the weighted average costs of all stock on-hand in a warehouse or production facility.

15-Aug-2007:

• Digiflex announces Mix and Match promotional pricing at distribution level, where promotional pricing and/or free items are earned based on the customer order meeting pre-set minimums of selected products or groupings of products.

25-Jun-2007:

• Digiflex announces Vendor-managed distribution functionality in ProCLASS:

  • Vendor-directed distributions (detailed sales orders) are received and managed by ProCLASS.

  • Customer-specific promotions are downloaded from the vendor, and sales activity from these promotions are captured and uploaded to the vendor.

  • Customer returns are managed, including inventory, customer credits, and periodic returns to the vendor.

• Digiflex announces that a growing number of reporting and extract functions now offer XML as an output option.

15-Jan-2007:

• Digiflex announces the availability of a new RF Order Entry and Inventory Management system for stores. The store order entry function allows for scanning of shelf labels or the actual products with UPC, SKU, or PLU barcodes. All DSD product orders are segregated by vendor and purchase orders are automatically sent to vendors on a preset cut-off time for each vendor. Orders for warehouse-supplied products are generated (combined from multiple RF units by store department) at a predetermined cut-off time.
• Warehouse shipments can be received quickly based on actual quantities shipped from the warehouse, and DSD shipments can be scan-received and an electronic receiving document is then posted for the exact payment to Accounts Payable.
• Stock adjustment and stock-taking functions provided to store staff, along with automatic postings of POS movement, complete the necessary tools for inventory management at the store. Inventory values are based on exact store costs and estimates of cost based on retail prices are not required.

13-Nov-2006:

• Digiflex announces the availability of a new outbound freight subsystem that allows for complete control over freight costs and payment of freight invoices. Freight rates and tables can be set up by carrier and destination, and miscellaneous surcharges such as fuel and protective services can be defined. ProCLASS is now able to calculate the exact freight cost for any shipment and to match this cost to the carriers freight invoice. When multiple carriers are able to service a particular destination, ProCLASS can select the least-cost carrier for the shipment. A "Freight Cost Comparison" report can be generated which shows shipment history and highlights shipments for which a different carrier would have provided a lower-cost service.

28-Oct-2006:

• Digiflex announces the availability of a new pre-book ordering system in ProCLASS. This system allows orders for selected items by selected customers within a predefined date range to be set aside for future shipment. Once the pre-booking period ends, ProCLASS can generate automatic purchase orders for the exact customer demand for each item. As the purchased products are received at the warehouse, customer orders can either be shipped via automatic attachment (add-to) to regular customer orders, or by creating single orders for each customers pre-booked items and quantities.
• This pre-booking system can eliminate excess inventory or the possibility of shorted orders since the exact customer demand is purchased and shipped.
• An item can be on pre-book programs for some customers and on regular ordering system for other customers at the same time.

12-May-2006:

• Eastern Alliance Corporation Sdn. Bhd. goes live with Digiflex's ProCLASS Distribution Management System and CLASS Financial Systems at its Limbang branch.

05-Nov-2005:

• Eastern Alliance Corporation Sdn. Bhd. goes live with Digiflex's ProCLASS Distribution Management System and CLASS Financial Systems at its Kuching and Miri branches.

16-Aug-2005:

• Wallace & Carey Inc., the largest independent distributor in Canada, has gone live with Digiflex's CLASS Accounts Payable and CLASS General Ledger Systems. Wallace and Carey are now running the full integrated suite of Digiflex ProCLASS Distribution Management and CLASS Financial systems.

01-May-2004:

• Eastern Alliance Corporation Sdn. Bhd. goes live with Digiflex's ProCLASS Distribution Management System and CLASS Financial Systems in its Sibu branch. The successful implementation was accomplished after less than one month of training and software and hardware set-up. Eastern Alliance is now poised to significantly expand its operations.

06-Feb-2004:

• Eastern Alliance Corporation Sdn. Bhd., one of the largest import and export companies in East Malaysia and Brunei, has signed an agreement to license Digiflex's ProCLASS Distribution Management System and CLASS Financial Systems for installation in all of the company's branches.  Its business covers the distribution of assorted products from non-edible to edible goods.

19-Jul-2003:

• Wallace & Carey Inc., the largest independent distributor in Canada, goes live with Digiflex's CLASS Accounts Receivable System. This was preceded by a 4-week parallel run with their old accounts receivable system.

14-Apr-2003:

• Wallace & Carey Inc., the largest independent distributor in Canada, has signed an agreement to license Digiflex's CLASS Financial Systems, starting the implementation with CLASS Accounts Receivable System. Wallace & Carey serves over 2500 retail sites from Ontario to Vancouver Island.

08-Apr-2003:

• CWF Meats of Chilliwack, B.C., a long-time user of Digiflex's ProCLASS Distribution Management and CLASS Financial Systems, goes live with the RF subsystem of ProCLASS Distribution Management System. RF equipment from Psion Teklogix is used for picking, receiving, and inventory management functions.

26-Sept-2002:

• Digiflex Information Systems Inc. has signed a Value Added Reseller and Co-Marketer agreement with Psion Teklogix Inc. and has committed to integrate wireless equipment from Psion Teklogix into its ProCLASS Distribution Management System. Psion Teklogix is a global provider of mobile computing solutions and devices for the enterprise. The company's wireless solutions enable total mobility, freeing workers from wired systems and providing access to mission critical information and enterprise IT systems and applications whenever and wherever it's needed.
  

13-May-2002:

• Digiflex Information Systems Inc. has signed a Strategic Alliance agreement with Cambian, a leading provider of collaborative commerce software for medium-sized enterprises. The alliance is a joint marketing and sales agreement between the companies which will bring a robust and fully integrated ERP plus Collaborative Commerce application to enterprises in the distribution industry.

20-Jan-2001:

• Wallace & Carey Inc., the largest independent distributor in Canada, has gone live at ten sites with Digiflex's ProCLASS Distribution Management System.  The simultaneous going live included all components of ProCLASS such as Purchasing, Warehousing, Inventory Management, Order Processing, Billing, Shipping Control, Retail Pricing, and Merchandising applications.

• ProCLASS Distribution Management system now provides the necessary functionality for tracking every shipped product to the particular pallet and lot number from which is was picked. This feature is an essential requirement for complying with safety regulations such as HACCP.
• In addition to tracking shelf life and expiry date of all perishable products, ProCLASS now accommodates the tracking of "manufactured" date for every receiving into any warehouse. This information is required for compliance with safety regulations such as HACCP.
